Pharmacy and Pharmacology at China Medical University take a topnotch position in the QS World University Rankings

QS, the UK Higher Education Survey Organization has released the top-ranked 200 universities in 30 scientific disciplines. China Medical University is in the top 101 - 150 rank in Pharmacy and Pharmacology, second in Taiwan, just behind National Taiwan University. The ranking was based on academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per paper and H-Index, It takes long-term devotion to academic research and development for CMU to stand above the crowd. The top rank affirms the world-leading position of CMU in pharmacy and pharmacology.

Landmark leadership transition at China Medical University - New President undertakes the missions of innovation in education and research to develop CMU brands

The 17th China Medical University President was inaugurated on February 12, 2014. The new President is Academician Wen-Hua Lee, a world-renowned cancer researcher. In the inauguration ceremon, Academician Yuan-Tze Lee, a Nobel Laureate and former President of Academia Sinica, praised Prof. Jong-Tsunami Huang, the outgoing CMU President, for his leadership and devotion to elevate the academic stature of CMU to a new height and anticipated that President Wen-Hua, like a giant whale in the ocean, will play a key role in leading CMU faculty and students to move forward against ocean waves in successfully advancing CMU.

Southern Biotech Medical Device Industry Cluster Development Project joined China Medical University in holding application workshop and sharing R&D accomplishments

China Medical University has built a great reputation in biotech and medical device R&D to attract Southern Taiwan Science Park Administration (STSPA) to hold its Project Application Workshop at CMU campus with several scores of biotech companies in central Taiwan in attendance. Andrea TJ Hsu, the STSPA Director of Investment Services, remarked on the large number of medical devices developed at CMU that meet the real needs of healthcare providers and patients to win the trust of biotech companies for opening blue ocean business avenues for the industry.
